Blogs On SEO For Free Search Engine Optimization Advice And Tips

We have been probing to find the possibilities on career progression, a way to earn more either with some sort of career progression in medical transcription or some alternate jobs online that could fetch us a living, because at some point in time in medical transcription career you will start feeling as if got stagnated and no way to grow further, income wise or career wise, and we found blogging and virtual assistance as the possible alternate sources.  The Wall Street Journal reports that over half a million full-time bloggers in the United States itself are earning more than $75,000 per year which is almost 2.25 times what a full-time medical transcriptionist could earn in the US.  (Earnings of a US based MT was $33,500 per year when we last looked into it and $6,000 for a MT in Philippines or in India.)  Isn’t that a great inspiration to start blogging?  I’m seriously considering a complete career switchover from medical transcription to full-time blogging if I could make it to $50,000 a year with my online ventures! How about you?

Cool SEO Blogs Giving Free Search Engine Optimization, Advices, Tips, Techniques and Tricks

With that inspiration, we have been looking into blogs on blogging in the last post.  Basically, blogging needs a domain, a blogging software, good language skills (which any working medical transcriptionist will already be having), some knowledge on search engine optimization (SEO) and the flow of brilliant ideas into words.  That’s it, simple huh?

SEO is not rocket science, but SEO consultants are minting money claiming they could do wonders with search engine strategies on assigning them the job.  If you could just listen to some free blog optimization techniques given by SEO experts, insiders from the major search engines, or the official blogs of the major search engines, that’s more than enough for you to enact that search traffic wonders yourself, free of cost.  In this post, let’s look into some blogs where we can get reliable, free information on search engine optimization for blogs.  Find below a list of blogs providing SEO tutorials, tips, techniques and tricks.

The blogs are ordered alphabetically and not according to their importance in terms of Google PageRank, Alexa Traffic Rank, Feedburner subscriber count or Technorati Authority.

Out of these SEO blogs, the blog “Matt Cutts” is the personal blog of the head of Google webspam team, Matt Cutts, and he gives out all the information on what Google likes and dislikes.  Apart from his blog, he gives out some great tips as recorded videos and you could catch them instantly if you follow him on Twitter.

To conclude, I will give you a great tip on search engine optimization for your proposed blog which no SEO expert can’t deny.  “Write for just human beings and not for search engine spiders.”

PS: Google is giving away a free ebook “Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide” where you could get all the basics of optimizing your blog for Google.  Grab your free copy of the ebook from the download link: Google’s Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide.

There will be times when some publishers will be tempted to get the services of SEO professionals. When this happens, research should be done.
