Hi

I am an MT working in Mumbai.  I have mailed you before also regarding QLDR error and I had a very quick and positive reply from your side for which I am very thankful to you.  This time I have another problem and hopefully you will solve this problem too.

We have been alloted files from admin PC in a sheet which is a Microsoft Access file and he puts our names against the file names for us. We have the same sheet at our respective PCs and we are supposed to refresh that sheet from our PC. Our systems do not have Microsfot Access. The same sheet opens at our place in Excel form. The problem is if the sheet is open at admin PC, we are not able to refresh the same from our desks.  An error displays when we try to refresh the sheet "odbc microsoft access driver login failed" "The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'O29-PC18' that prevents it from being opened or locked." and then it has ok and cancel buttons. If I click on "OK" anothe dialogue box pops up saying "login" which we cant login because of unawareness of login name and password.  My query is whether we can refresh the data even if it is open at admin's pc because we have to wait until the admin closes the sheet on his desk.

Could you please help me out with this problem.

Waiting for your reply.

Regards

Have you been able to refresh the sheet when it was open at administrator's end earlier and now that you are getting this new error?
