We all receive several mailers offering us at home jobs /training,which includes medical transcription also, and they often end up duping gullible users.

When you receive such emails, then search the google with the following keywords, domain name + scam.it will produce all the scam messages against that domain.

Hey, that is a very good idea.  Thanks for this very useful tip.

Medical transcription has become the favorite subject for scammers to make quick bucks especially in India.  Unknowingly many flies are drawn to that lamp and get burnt their wings well before they begin their lives.

Interestingly, Michelle Miller from Florida has made a guest post at MT Herald on How to find a reliable online medical transcription training program?

Somebody posed me the question "Which medical transcription educational course to join in India?" In the past decade, I have seen many medical transcription institutes mushrooming up and withering down in a few months.  Hence my recommendation for all such queries to all medical transcription job aspirants is that "Whoever is going to absorb you into live production after the training, join that institute."  Check with the alumni of that institute whether they are really into production and pay on date or just a bogus institute.

Yes you are right, you have hit the nail on the head,it basically comes down how much employable you are, after finishing a course from an institute.that should be the bottom line.Contacting aluminis is a good idea.

That's actually a very good idea.  I have been doing the same thing for years.  You can also type in 'website + sucks.'  This will show you the critics of a website.  Might be useful to do both in order to get both sides of a story. Smiley
