Medical transcription is one of the fastest growing professions today. It is an exciting and challenging career in healthcare field. Medical transcriptionist job is transcribing medical report such as patient’s history, pathological reports, laboratory tests, discharge papers and many other important reports that are dictated by the medical professionals or physicians.  The primary task of the medical transcriptionist is to transcribe, format and proofread medical records and it needs tremendous amount of concentration.
The internet has dramatically changed the job front of this profession and with digital transcription, it is now possible to transcribe from anywhere in the world.

If this is a growing industry, WHERE ARE THE JOBS?   I have 35 years experience and no jobs available, on line or in my community.  Help would be appreciated if you know where the jobs are and how to get them. 

I am also wondering that and becoming concerened about ever finding work. I'm a new MT graduate and can't believe hardly anyone will consider you without experience.
