Recent Medical Terms Glossary For Transcriptionists – List Ten

Three days break at a stretch, oh! what a relief! The past weekend along with the US Independence Day, a break for three days with my doctors taking a day off on Friday also, was a relieving one amidst the busy medical transcription life.  I remember my good old school days looking at the calendar counting the days for the next long break.  Voila, we had at least 14 compulsory Central Government holidays and another few days of State Government holidays depending on the state in which one resides apart from the two-month-long summer vacation break and another two, ten-day-each term breaks.  Now under medical transcriptionist cap, I’m just able to avail of only six US Government holidays, viz., New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, US Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day; just have to compulsorily forget all those local holidays and festivals!  Now I’m looking at the calendar craving for US Labor Day.

recent medical terms, latest medical terminology, current transcription glossary

Today, in this post, we have an abstract of the latest medical transcription terms available at the new terms board of MT Daily.

(FIY:  The lowered subscription rate of $7 for a year for accessing all the message boards on MT Daily still continues.)

I find it useful adding the recent medical terms to the “User Dictionary” section of the soft copy of my Stedman’s Electronic Medical Dictionary, you may too make it a habit to add it to your personal medical glossary so that your search for these vaccines, medicines, instruments and procedures ends within your system thereby saving time.  The sooner your search ends, the more productive you can be.

I have to agree that longing for a continuous stretch of days off is common amongst transcriptionists generally not just medical ones. However I thought that the the list of medical terms/glossary Raj produced here is absolutely brilliant. He is such a caring guy in producing this for us so that we can work faster and more accurately. Thanks Raj!

I have posted this review on my website with a link back to MT.
