Seven Workout Secrets For Easy Fat Burning And A Slim Figure
- 1 Comment
If you are going to gym, there are several things that your trainer might not have told you to cut down the flab that is all around your tummy. Believe me, sometimes small things can do wonders!
In the USA alone, there are about 35-40% of obese people. That means their BMI (Body Mass Index) is greater than 25 kg/m2, not to mention the ever increasing cases of heart diseases in these obese people.
Well, it’s not that you can’t hit gym for a well planned, proper workout if you are obese, but it requires a lot of motivation. You set your New Year resolutions, workout for a week, and then just give up. You are not alone, this is the case with at least 40% of the people worldwide.
Here, I’ll give you some small useful tips on how to burn fat and how to be motivated all the time to get that perfect shape. Trust me, you do not need to follow anything else on the internet if you take these tips seriously.
1. Always Start From Little
Don’t be overenthusiastic. Set short-term goals. For instance, start with burning 100 calories on the treadmill or elliptical for 3 weeks first along with little stretching exercises. And if you are regular, you’ll see a change in the form of better stamina and increased concentration soon. You can increase your work outs then.
2. Believe In Music
Music is an ultimate motivation for all obese people. Even research studies have proved that if you are working out with music in your ears, then your workout will be far more productive than without music.
TIP: Fast music like Trance and Hip-hop will give you better results.
3. Burn With Caffeine?
I’m not sure if you have ever heard about this. If you take little dose of dark coffee like Espresso before your workout, it can do wonders! Caffeine increases your physical activity and hence you feel energetic and burn more calories. This is a well-known fact.
However, if you don’t love caffeine, you can try other energy drinks that have torreine in it. It’ll have more or less the same effect.
4. Weights – They Won’t Make You Huge
It’s a misconception that lifting weights can make one huge like those bodybuilders and wrestlers. Just due to this, many people spend most of their time doing cardio workouts and never see quick results.
Always start from lifting little weights. Keep on adding more weight once you gain more strength. After a few weeks, you’ll realize that you are losing more fat and building good strength, which is what you want, isn’t it?
5. Workout Without Warmup Is Not Much Effective
Yes! your body has stored energy. You need to drain out that energy by doing some warmup exercises before you start lifting weights. After the warmup, when you lift weights you’ll be burning the energy from the stored fats and not your stored energy.
You can also reverse the process by lifting weights first and then burning fats from cardio but the vice versa is more effective for most people.
6. Never Eat Anything At Least 2 Hours Before Your Workout
Well, the reason is the same as above. If you eat just before your workout, then your body will tend to draw energy from what you’ve eaten. This means you’ll have to drain out more energy with cardio in order to burn fat with your workout.
This is probably the main reason working out in the morning is more effective than working out in the evenings. Sleep is an activity which consumes calories and when you wake up, you are already sans your stored energy.
7. Control Your Diet
Some people say never to skip breakfast, some say to take high protein content, and some say to drink a lot of water. True, but one thing you have to remember is that you cannot burn fat and lose weight without controlling your diet.
You have to give up those high carb foods. If you really want to eat them, then set only 1 day a week for it. For the rest of the days, try to include as much protein as you can in your diet.
Conclusion
You may forget about all these tips after some time but just remember that it’s really not difficult to lose weight once you get used to it. Everything requires a lot of patience, be it burning fat or climbing Mt Everest.
Your first step should be to getting used to (or getting addicted to) workouts in the gym. Just work on that and you’ll notice a better peace of mind and reduced size of your waist soon.
