SiteMeter widget is technically a Yahoo Widget that is placed on the blogger’s PC desktop. It displays the count of the site’s traffic updated every six minutes so that you’re updated with your blog’s performance at any point in time. With a simple mouse click on the widget’s switch, the option can be changed from page views to visits. At midnight each night, it resets and starts all over again. It also has some fun little custom options like speech, fonts, etc., i.e., for those who prefer an audible notification, a voice can be enabled which will tell how many visits or page views the site has. The voice will notify every 6 minutes when the widget checks the site’s data. Yahoo Widgets on your PC is required prior to installing SiteMeter WordPress widget. Windows as well as Mac versions are available.
Get more details, installation instruction, download location etc., from SiteMeter’s weblog. MT Herald Dot Com thanks those talented people who got together to create this widget.
