If no placement guarantee is given, then mode of training, exposure to variety of reports, and on the top of these, exploiting your networking with your friends could help you out. For eg., associating with one of your friends working at a local clinic as a medical transcriptionist will help you more than going for a second course (which will be a waste of money as well).
